Congratulations

Daddy took a week off and we went up to Northumberland for a few days. It was mummy and daddy's wedding anniversary whilst we were there so I guess you could say that I gate-crashed it. They were keen to get me out and about as the weather was good and I even experienced some new techniques for nappy-changing!

It is me honestly

It was good to spend some time with mummy and daddy and I kept them entertained with my new noises.

Time to go home before we were spotted as being under-age drinkers

Table for one

I am getting to a point now where milk is just not sufficient. Mummy has gradually started to feed me solids, well, certain vegetables and fruit. I am impressed how eager she is to make her own food but have noticed the odd pre-made jar in the cupboard. Mummy and daddy even spashed out and bought me a new chair so I can join them at the table. Ironically, I do seem to eat alone and only twice a day!

After much talk, Great Uncle Ian, as he likes to be known, arrived back in England. Apparently he lives in Italy but I was slightly confused as he still had a strong scouse accent. Mummy has told me how he likes to cling onto his roots back home. At least he sports the right side of the park!
We showed him the Yorkshire countryside and he even seemed to like it, however I know he is more of a Mersey Man!

Fashion Week

Since mummy has been off work, we have done a fair share of shopping especially to the Retail Parks. As daddy, in particular, is a keen follower of fashion, he has treated me to a couple of new outfits. Mummy and Daddy are keen for me to look good and there was even talk of baby competitions with cash prizes! Stripes and bold colours are obviously are big hit at the moment.

Everyone is doing it

Harry in t'London

As I settled into my new pad without much fuss, mummy and I braved the train and went to stay with Auntie Laura and Uncle James in London whilst Daddy was away with work. They have recently bought a new house which was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for me and my toys. It was good to spend some time with them and mummy seemed to enjoy herself and her wine! I was happy to spend a few hours reading the FT with Uncle James.
We didn't go sightseeing but strolled down Kings Road instead. Mummy strangely told daddy we did some window-shopping! Funny that!
