Football season begins

I keep getting told how lucky I was to be born over the summer especially being able to be taken on plenty of walks in the warm evenings. More importantly, June was also the start of the World Cup, a first for me and Peter Crouch.
Now I can sit upright, nearly unaided, mummy has kept me quiet by watching TV. This will enable me and daddy to follow Liverpools climb to success in the Premiership.

New discoveries

I am starting to observe much more now and have recently discovered the art of chewing, in particular, my hand. The right one is a favourite and has been a great substitute for milk in between feeds. However, I would hate to ruin a good routine.

Right one

Who is Baby Bjorn?

Before I was born, daddy carefully chose a highly technical pram for me to ride about it. Then he decided to get closer to me and invested in this baby holder. It hasn't been as popular as the pram and I do prefer facing outwards as it can get messy at dinner times.

My week in Portugal

For grannie's 60th we went to sunny Portugal which gave mummy, daddy and me some 'bonding' time together.

I behaved impeckably for the whole week and knowingly did them proud on my first plane journey. Not only was this a new experience but they even took me swimming. However, I definitely take after mummy in the sunbathing stakes.

Some familiar faces

As the weeks have gone by, mummy has kept me busy socialising during the day with the NCT bunch, walking around parks not just retail ones and more recently leaving me with some familar faces whilst her and daddy go out on their own. Apparently this phenomenon is called 'Babysitting' and I have been introduced to it earlier than some. I have already counted that they have stayed away twice now without me. Whilst we were on holiday they palmed me off with grannie and pops, even Pops attracted large crowds whilst holding me.
My last photo may put off some willing babysitters.

Typical male

As I am a growing lad plenty of food and sleep is essential during the day. I have two naps, one in the morning and one over lunchtime. Mummy is good at sticking to routines which suits me fine. Some of us however need more sleep than others!

No more Everton songs please!

The playmat

This has been an invaluable present from mummy and daddy which I have spent many hours kicking about on. Mummy calls her my 'other woman' as it has kept me occupied at times of need. As I am now keen to sit up and play then hopefully this present will become a distant memory.

Havin' a laugh

Aunties and Uncles

When we arrived in Portugal, I met Uncle Dave, Auntie Fiona and Cousin Nuala. They live miles away so it was good to spend some time in the sun with them. Cousin Nu is nearly two and is now a confident young lady, she has lots of clothes and is always sporting the latest fashions. I will stick closely to her.

Meet the family

As the grandparents came and went, it was the turn for the aunties, uncles, even the overseas ones, to pay a visit and fuss over me. Auntie Laura, mummy's sister, kindly took some time off work to take me out and about. If I'm not mistaken took to it like a duck to water!

Not too posh to push!

Auntie Jennie, daddy's sister and Uncle Neil live quite close-by. Uncle Neil is Scottish so I won't be letting him take me to the football when I am older.

Every now and then, mummy and daddy chat by webcam to the rest of the Uncles and Aunties who live overseas, some in Dubai and some in Hong Kong.

Uncle Alex and Auntie Jo live in Dubai apparently it will be an ideal place for me to go when I am off school. They came to stay in when it was too hot in Dubai and to spend some time back on home ground with everyone. Some say I look similar to Uncle Alex but I will reserve judgement on that. However, I definitely have better taste in teams.
