and then Grannie Binnion came to stay..

Grannie Binnion came to stay for a few days before Pops and her flew out to Italy for Grannie's birthday. By now mummy had got me into a strict sleeping and eating routine so things were slightly more organised in the house. We made the most of the good British weather and hopefully made her stay here bearable!
Whilst Grannie was here, I noticed that mummy slipped out for another girlie night out. I reckon daddy is putting a spreadsheet together calculating who has had the most nights out since my arrival.

My first wedding

Two weeks ago Auntie Sarah got married. She isn't a real Auntie but looked after my mummy when I was a bump and made her stay in hospital comfortable during and after my arrival. Mummy went to University with Auntie Sarah so the wedding was a good time to meet all mummy's old house mates. Some of them travelled a very long way to get here and mummy had her first girlie night out without me. She didn't seem too upset to leave me in daddy's capable hands but sensibly she drove as babies and hangovers don't mix!

When Grandma Jevons came to stay

Daddy returned to work and Grandma came to stay to help mummy and look after me. We nick named her the Au Pair as she seemed to do everything around the house and even fed me during the early hours whilst mummy and daddy slept. Grandpa stayed for two nights but apparently he had golf commitments and he quite likes time on his own without being nagged. We had a great week hanging out at Roundhay Park, Marks and Spencers and numerous card shops. Grandma seemed to spend hours in some of them! Thanks for my lovely blanket and pillow which you made for my nursery. Grandpa tells me that her Grandma's new hobby is diggging into his savings!
Grandma liked being here but was sad to leave when Grandpa came to pick her up.
